Tudor Dance workshops are an excellent introduction to British values and British dance history, combined with physical recreation, teamwork and a lot of fun. Alison will teach a variety of dances from all tiers of Tudor society, accompanied by suitable music to inspire your students.
Participants will also have the opportunity to learn Tudor songs, and watch a live performance of Tudor recorder music. Alison will be dressed in Tudor attire, and this could be an opportunity for your students to engage with the Tudor period by dressing as a Tudor too!
These workshops are suitable for all ages including EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Alison can also provide CPD sessions for teachers. In addition to teaching a range of dances, she can suggest suitable music, appropriate warmups and ways of linking maypole dance to the rest of the curriculum, catering to different abilities and achieving high standards.
